Project Description: New Construction located within the MLK master plan proposed district to house Administrative Offices and Board Room, steel structure with brick and stucco. The incorporation of sustainable design techniques including energy saving glazing, shading, and a rainwater collection tank for irrigation were key design features of this project.

Shreveport Common Vision Plan

Project Description: A Vision Plan of an approximate 9 block area using Creative Place Making as a tool for Urban Renewal. This design effort came about through many months of community listening sessions, advisory committee meetings and in depth research of the history of the area. The National Endowment for the Arts chose this project as 1 of 17 to receive the Mayor's Institute for City Design grants based on this vision putting the Arts in the forefront as a mechanism of transformation.

Project Description: Project Architect: Byron Stewart; Associate Architect: Mischa Farrell. New Construction Library incorporates stacks, technology center, meeting room, childrens area, staff offices, and break room. This project and SRAC worked together to incorporate public art into the building.
